I had lost my I.D. earlier that week and my husband and I had been planning to get our noses pierced for months by this time. I'm 19, but I look more like 12, so I was having a really hard time finding a place to accept me that day. I finally found someone who would accept a birth certificate and my senior yearbook photo. Well anyhoo, my husband had gotten his done already at a place down the street from our house, so I had already seen how it was done. I climbed in the chair exclaiming, "Do it right this second or I'm leaving and your out of my business!" So the guy does my nose, and it didn't even hurt. He was putting the ball in and I noticed that his hands were shaking severely-then continues to straddle me in the chair because he wasn't used to doing people's right nostrils and he couldn't get the ball in. I'm looking at my husband with tears in my eyes like, "Is my nose still there???" Well, I come to find out 45 minutes after I had left (and accidentally gotten punched in the nose while he was putting in the ball) Go figure.
