This was my first and only facial piercing so I was a little spooked. It didn't hurt at all. It was over in a second. Healing was great. Most oral piercings heal really nicely. Again like with the tongue ring you need to change the way you eat while it's healing. You don't want to eat anything really acidic. Fruit like Apples, Pears, Peaches, etc are hard to eat. It hurts. Lots of ice. Clean it out after you eat. And in two weeks the swelling is pretty much over and it doesn't hurt, at least for me. But though it doesn't hurt, that DOES NOT mean you can change the jewlery. Wait the reccommended time. Usually the CBR is bigger because your piercer need to take into a account that you're going to swell. Change it in two months. Patience is a virtue. I have not stretched my labret. But I did put a 12 g in to see if it would fit. It seems like it would be fine as long as you have and the jewlery in for a while and you play with it a bit to losen up the whole. After it's completely healed.
